For clarification;
There was an electronic threat at the black history assembly at Spiro today. Due to the specificity of the threat, the delivery method, the lack of access to the facility, and previous information, we were confident in what we were dealing with. Proper authorities were contacted, and the perpetrator confessed to the prank. Spiro Public Schools takes the safety of our students with the utmost seriousness and appreciate students who were willing to help with information regarding this issue. Parents and Guardians, PLEASE have a conversation with your children about the severity of cell phone pranks and encourage them to talk to an adult if they hear of any intentions of this nature. Thank you for your help and support. If you have any questions or would like to speak to me directly, please feel free to contact me at 918-962-2463
Sincerely,
